Rubinacci to open in New York

I saw Mariano and his son Luca last week. They confirmed that they will open a store in New York, in the Carlyle Hotel. The store will sell exclusively Rubinacci accessories. They will not offer bespoke services at that location . The concept will be similar to Marinella's location at the George V. William Massena

Really? - that's great - any idea when it opens?

Great news, but you would think they would do a good bespoke business in NYC.

From experience, I never ask a Neapolitan tailor about a delivery date .

Artisan fan:

No bespoke at that location for now? I hope.

I haven't exactly been bowled over by his ties.

I would like to see what the shirts are like...

Well I wonder if they'll at least ship garments made in Italy or London to its New York location.

I use to have an OTR dress shirt by him. Sleeves were too short and it fitted like a tent, but fabric and color were very nice quality. That was 10 years ago, let’s see if his shirts are fitted now.
