Pocket squares - where do you guys *really* get them? - Page 2

RLPL from RL outlets. Always reduced and none more the $20, most at $10 or less.

Some good suggestions in this thread and I'm happy to see that they are mostly pretty cheap. It really boils my piss when I see a magazine layout and in the details it will say something like 'white linen pocket square by Tom Ford - $135'.

If I won the lotto every month for a year I still wouldn't lash out $135 for a white linen pocket square that is barely distinguishable from a $5 one.

I try to buy a couple whenever they're on sale, especially when on sale! Boxing Day in Canada usually means they're more than 50% off! I've seen Tom Ford pocket squares go for as low as $40.00...

C21 in Long Island, usually great ones for less than $20, many Robert Talbots for $9.99

I have three Kent Wang pocket squares, and while I like the look and fabric, I find them to be too small. Some people make a similar complaint, while others think they are fine. I don't know.

Well, I'm really trying to find some interesting colors and patterns, so the solid silk ones don't really do it for me.

I got a number of mine at Simonnot Godard in Brussels. Really amazing stuff, especially for the price.

Try making them yourself, as others suggested: http://www.purlbee.com/rolled-hem-ha....html#comments

If you're in a part of the country with Dillard's stores, they usually have solid-color pocket squares for around $15.

I've also bought them on EBay.

Lucky for me, my sister works at Moores (the Canadian equivalent of Men's Wearhouse), so I can get solid colour silk pocket squares for 50% off (about $4).

That is one fine smellin' square sir.

I seem to always find one or two in the ladies scarf bin at thrift stores...I am a cheap bastard.

This. It is very easy to get carried away and buy way more pocket squares that you actually wear. I speak from experience.

In recent years, most of the squares I bought came from the Saks Off-5th in the Block at Orange.

I would second MW as a source for solid colored squares. They are the only things I have ever purchased at a Men's Wearhouse.
