A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been charged by police in Ipswich for allegedly tattooing a penis on a man's back - instead of the image he had requested.

The 25-year-old victim had been visiting the man, a professional tattooist, at his home in Bundamba last Wednesday when he was talked into getting a tattoo.

He wanted a yin and yang symbol with some dragons, but was instead shocked to discover the 40cm tattoo was of a penis with an obscene slogan. He now faces considerable cost to have the image removed.

Police said the tattooing followed an argument between the men, during which the professional tattooist allegedly took offence at something the other man said.

The victim has also alleged he was punched and thrown out of the house following the tattooing.

The 21-year-old is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on November 15 charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one charge relating to the Public Safety Act.

Doesn't make sense that he would let someone he had an argument with put a tattoo on his back...

^^ I had the same thought. If you're stupid enough to let someone with whom you've been arguing make an indelible mark on your body, you kind of deserve it when you end up with a tremendous wang inked on your back.

Perhaps he was talked into getting a penis tattoo while drunk and got angry about it after it was done. That would make more sense.

Oh, for christ sake, I'm stupid sometimes. This thread inspired me to google "penis tattoo" thinking that there may be an image to go with this story. There wasn't. But what the hell was I thinking? My eyes!!

Recently I saw something just as stupid. My brothers former boss sent him a camera phone pic that my brother showed me. Apparently someone made a bet with him that he'd give him $2,000 if he got a tattoo of a penis on his arm (apparently the guys not gay either). The dumb bastard took the bet and got the penis tattooed on his right arm from his wrist to elbow. No joke.
