I was at Bloor today. There are a handful of new pieces out. Some of the blazers look particularly choice. The collar on the oxfords looks to have shrunk some. Edited by lofigeek - 2/8/12 at 7:08pm
I was at Bloor as well. I didn't see a single classic fit shirt.
Try the Queen location. I think I might have saw some there. Although I was disappointed in the last shirt I tried on. Even sizing down, it still felt boxy.
i donno.. I used to shop at CM when their sales were like crazy, and their stuff were more than reasonable for its prices.. but more and more, their prices have been skyrocketing up to the point where I get turned off and just walk out of their store empty handed.. I wonder wtf the CEO of the company is thinking.. with THAT price, I'll just resort to some real high end brand.. seriously. it's Club Monaco, for god's sake.
They new Spring stuff is aight. Tried on a nice light weight nylon vest which retail for 198.00 (yeah right). Will pick up when it goes on 50 percent sale. I agree with their prices. I think in terms of sale I watch their wool pants which can drop down to like 69.00 which I think is fair. Eyeing a pair of wright flannel pants that are still 129.00 (Original 199.00). Hoping that will drop to around 69.00 eventually. SA said its part of a suit hence that is why its still so expensive
The O'Reilly Flannels will be on for cheap soon most of the jackets are gone, the trousers are nice, nicer than the other flannels they had going.
As for classic fit shirting, I know for sure at Bloor there is a section near the back right, (close to the change rooms) that is exclusively classic fit. ask an SA, they are super helpful at Bloor. They are annoying when you are just trying to browse, but way more helpful than Eaton/Queen SA's (esp. you Queen St. why you gotta be so rude?)
Regarding pricing, there are many items that are ridiculous, some that are OK (new oxfords less than the old ones?).....
But what really gets me is their barbour liddesdale fake THAT IS MORE THAN A FREAKING BARBOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are going to rip off an iconic brand you best be offering a better value.
(That being said.... will cop at 50% off in July.)
^ Agreed, their prices at retail are ridiculous and their sales aren't so great.
At least they do go on sale quite regularly. The thing is, once they do, you need to pounce on that shit, because everyone else is waiting for the price drops just as you are.
Got a quilted down vest couple weeks ago; a little pricey, but was decent price after student discount. Fit is nice, and nice for layering under jackets as well. Their prices have def gone up quite a bit.

I do like the buttons more than snaps though for that type of jacket
Saw some of their Spring stuff couple days ago... Oxfords are same old, didn't notice too much difference. I quite like their "Davis" fit for pants but it seems a lot of the wool trousers are their wider legged Kennedy fit (I've got shorter legs and so the Kennedy fit doesn't really work well).
I think it'll be hard to find anyone who doesn't agree about their pricing being too high... Everyone's just gotta wait for sales I guess. Personally gonna wait for that nylon vest someone mentioned to drop in price...
