Does the 30% off apply to already marked down items?

Pretty sure the 30% off only applies to already marked down items.

You can have them search up nation-wide inventory, and if there is availability at one of the stores, they'll take your information and have that store ship it to you for $12.

the grey down jacket is pretty good looking especially with the 30% off, it's a good price.

Most likely they are taking a hard line more often now due to this article, which was written because the journalist got the idea from seeing, on another forum, non-students bragging about using student discounts:

Yeah they can get pretty hectic. CM is the best kept secret in mainstream chic fashion. I certainly favor it over H&M and UO.

Anyone else needs a proxy?

Easily the best mall-store -- but only 40% off already-sales does not warrant going through the swarms of people expected tomorrow in Frisco.

+1. I find the clothes I liked the best cost the most, and even marked down, were still too expensive. Almost bought a fair isle sweater, but decided not to since I thought the sweater would have looked better without the pattern. Club Monaco has some nice stuff, but there's nothing I absolutely need to have.

So so so excited about the sales after xmas, got 2 jackets,
the oldrich blazer ( 279/229/137.4 )
and
the puffer jacket ( 269/219/131.4 ).
It is hard to find extra small size stuff during sales, I have to visit 2 stores for each.
Btw, student discount can not be applied after 40% off. :(
