maybe I've been out of the loop? I've been there about 4 years but the "TB" style influence I thought only really came in a couple of years ago. I like the styling in theory, but TBH a lot of the fits end up being a little unwearable for "normal" people.

This is interesting. I was in Club Monaco the other day (picked up a silk/cashmere cardi and a pair of clinch-back shorts ($9). The suits felt great, had surgeon cuffs, good rolls, great fit, nice quality (not sure I'd spend the 550 on one, though). Wandering around I honestly thought I saw a bunch of Thom Browne influence- to be honest, I thought CM was ripping him off. I had no idea he was doing work for them. This is pretty cool.

good for basics when they hit the sales rack, especially after multiple price discounts..also looks they've done a few low-key collabs...seen clarks, barbour and levi's in there recently.

I have one near work and browsed it on the weekend. The fair isle sweater's pattern is awesome but the wool is crap. Better off sticking to basics rather than knits. Also the tweed-ish patch pocket sportcoat they have is actually worthwhile or rather it will be once it's 50% off or whatever.

Their retail prices are ridiculous, but once they've marked things down at least twice you can find some decent deals on basics. I really liked the t-shirts they used to carry, they were very tapered so it was a perfect fit for someone with a large drop.

Club Monaco is far and away my favorite mall brand. Noobs should step their game up and stop going to J Crew and go to CM instead.

Club Monaco is more expensive in Korea than it is here in the U.S. And nobody buys Club Monaco at full price. I'd say on average, I got my Uniqlo clothing for around the same price as I got my Club Monaco clothing, and I wear my Club Monaco clothes much more. But I do visit Uniqlo and skip Club Monaco whenever I go to Korea mainly because there's no Uniqlo where I live in the U.S.

^^ Yea I was wondering, CM clothing isn't that much more expensive than BR. I think shirts are like $10 more. I need to start going there more often, but it looks like most of the shirts get taken when the prices get dropped to the $50 to $60 range. I never see size medium shirts under this price.

CM is a good alternative to BR IMO.

A basic **** at CM will run you no more than 100 bucks, also lets not forget about their Wright Suit which is actually really well made for the price.
