Club Monaco: Adventures in decent clothing and horrible marketing - Page 131

I've only tried the Davis light and regular weight chinos, and  hey are pretty similar in quality and fit to J Crew urban slim fit.  Ian from Squalor to Baller has a good post on chinos that goes through CM and other brands, linked here.

Any chance that someone bought a pair of the Venetian loafers in 10.5 from CM and needs a size 11 instead? I have a pair of 11s and need a 10.5. Send me a PM if we can make a swap or something!

bought a grey sport coat with matching trousers for dirt cheap

http://www.clubmonaco.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=12473372&prodFindSrc=search $190 - 40%

http://www.clubmonaco.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=12473350&prodFindSrc=search $30 - 40%

normally i wear the grant, but the price for this wright fit is too good to pass up... will see if tailoring is needed

also just returned a pair of rancourt venetians in size 9.5; keeping the 9s ... might pop back up on the canadian website??

Last week I bought this MIA cashmere blazer for the fall. Wouldn't have paid anything other than the $300 it eventually went down to.

I don't know. Most of the people look like they are Canadian residents except for Jackboot.

Nice. Picked this up as well. fistbump.gif I had my eye on it for a while and agree for that price I think this will be a good fall piece.

You're a US resident and there is no issue with them shipping to your US address?

Cool!

I tried it on last night and it fits very very well. Maybe it's the cashmere that causes it to drape so nicely. I got a 36R, and will need the sleeves slimmed and maybe extended 1/4" or 1/2"; didn't try it on with my proper shirts as yet.

Question - did yours come in a garment bag with a hanger? A previous MIA blazer I had bought to try on did, but this just came in a plastic bag, no garment bag or hanger.

Sorry, no - mine were ordered from the Canadian site and shipped within Canada. I'm a US resident currently on holiday in Canada.

My MIA blazer came with a hanger but no garment bag. I didn't know they were supposed to also come with a garment bag!

OK thanks. So the assumption right now is that the Canadian website will only ship to Canadian addresses. Was your billing address in the U.S.?

Unfortunately the Canadian website will only ship to Canadian addresses. My purchases were made with a Canadian credit card with a Canadian billing/shipping address.

Looks like the U.S. folks are out of luck then.
