Definitely vanity sized. I think my true waist is 33" and I usually buy 30 tagged.

the grant suit i ordered last week in blue houndstooth came in yesterday. the material feels very substantial and it looks like a great winter suit. if anyone wants pics i can post when i'm home.

I wanted the blue but they didn't have the jacket in my size. Got the brown and yes it does feel substantial and was an excellent buy for $250.

just curious, does yours have a label saying the wool is sourced from the comero mill?

haha no, I bought the cashmere union suit, not this jacket. It's awesome in case anyone else was curious about making a totally unnecessary purchase.

Pics would be good! I ordered the trousers to wear as odd trousers. It felt pretty great, but only time will tell if it holds up.

You bought the onsie? Ha ha. Well sir whatever you do in the bedroom is your business!

I've always found CM dress pans to be decent quality so it should hold up.

The sale is in-store as well? Some nice stuff online but not in my size shog[1].gif
post #1899 of 2093
I think there was some in-store sale but it's usually like 30% maybe 40% here or there. The online one was 50% off clearance which was pretty sweet. Final sale though. And the merch is different to what's in store in some cases.

Ya it never reflects what's online, which I find super annoying. I guess I'll just order online and pay the shipping.
Why don't you just order something extra to get the free shipping and then return it in store?

Time > money.

Anyone on here grab one of the "Clipper" Jackets from 2012? Looking for this in a large, would love to buy one if it's not getting any wear:

Has anyone noticed that CM has cut the Davis chinos significantly slimmer recently? Picked up two sale pairs and one full price (with a student discount), the full price one (which I assume is the current season) is much slimmer in the legs.

I noticed that Club Monaco has been cutting everything considerably slimmer lately. I used to wear mediums there and now I have to go with larges even though Im the same size in every other brand. I also recently tried on a blazer and I now have to go to a 42 where I used to fit the 40. Its strange how they have started cutting things so slim that its basically the same as going down a size from what they used to sell. A few different brands have been doing that lately. People really want slim fit I guess.
