Club Monaco: Adventures in decent clothing and horrible marketing - Page 123

Was at Club Monaco on Friday to pick up a shawl cardigan with the extra percentage off this weekend in the US. Noticed they have a Barbour jacket called the Tailored Sapper which looked nice if you are looking for a field jacket type jacket. Was definitely slim. I am usually a small in Barbour and I tried on the medium which fit well. MSRP on it was $399.

Here it is on the Barbour site:

X-post from the Rancourt thread.

Will ClubMonaco.ca ship to the US? They appear to have inventory in a Rancourt shoe I've been eyeing that has sold out in my size on the US site.

Has anyone seen the Grey Camo Davis Chinos available in store? There aren't anymore men's Club Monaco stores here in Texas and they're sold out online so I was wondering if someone could help me proxy a pair. Here is the link to the chinos but I need the Davis fit: http://www.clubmonaco.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=28715166
If anyone could help me out please let me know, thank you.

Has anyone bought their dress shirts? More so the spread collar dress shirts? I'm curious because I've always just purchased their casual button down.

Is the collar flimsy?

They will not, the US store ships from a warehouse location in the US, the Canadian store ships from somewhere in Mississauga. They will not transfer stock between them and you cannot get shipping to the US from the Canadian store or vice versa.

Believe me, I have tried.

Thanks for your reply. I presumed that was the case.

I'll contemplate for a few days. If I still think I have to have them, maybe I'll arrange some sort of proxy arrangement.

Tried on the Golden Bear moto jacket.. love the fit and style, and it's well made. But a bit steep at $1k+ imo.

Very nice. But yeah, kinda steep.

It will go on sale, patience. No one is going to be rushing in store for it.

I have always wanted to try one of those on. I love the old USN deck jackets and a waxed cotton version would be great.
