Club Monaco: Adventures in decent clothing and horrible marketing - Page 89

Similar sale will likely come back, this is the second time they've done a sale of this kind in the last month or so. last time was 25% rather than 30%. I suspect we'll have another 30% over $150 or a 30% off of sale before the new year.

They will likely not restock, they generally don't restock third party items within the same season.

For example see: 3sixteen stock this fall.

What are you thoughts on this SC?
http://www.clubmonaco.com/product/index.jsp?productId=13054560&cp=12243591.12280933.12454394&ab=ln_men_apparel_sportcoats

After the discount and a gift card it comes to $107. Worth it? Lapels are pretty darn skinny.

Trendy. Buttoning point is too high, length is too short, and lapels to skinny. I personally would pass, but if you are looking for something trendy that may work for you.

I got a couple sweaters and man you were absolutely right.

I have more of an athletic build, so that may be why, but still.

Looks like 40% off sale stuff goin on right now in stores and online.

Anyone have any info on the selvedge denim that club monaco sells? The store i was in had a lot of both denim and black selvedge jeans for $129 plus 40%, looks like good beater pair.

Sorry for more sizing questions, but if I wear a Medium in Slim merino cardigans at J Crew and smalls in regular fit sweaters at J Crew, and also smalls in EFM Cardigans at Uniqlo, what size should I be looking at for merino v necks from Club Monaco?

Thanks!!!

I would also like sizing advice along these lines. I ordered three mediums last night and I mainly want them for wearing over OCBDs, but I'm wondering if I should have gone with smalls instead.

As I don't have any experience with J. Crew and this year's EFM merino I can't really say for sure but I would say either small or extra small

The made in America selvedge seem pretty nice. Nice double lined back pockets, heavy pocket bags. Denim seems to be Kuroki Mills. I got a pair and they have stretched a llot.

Ordered the Utility Jacket (http://www.clubmonaco.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=13336577&cp=12266410.12280856.12770908&ab=viewall) in a L with the intention of replacing my J Crew Fireman's jacket which fits like a tent. Sure enough, the CM jacket fits big too. Was going to order a M along with the L to be sure of sizing but figured everything else I have from CM I wear an L, that should go for outwear too.

M is sold out now, not a big loss, in person the coat isn't all that great. Return time after Christmas.

I saw it in person yesterday and definitely like it. Just wish it had a stand up collar rather than the pointed one it has.

I've got a gift card with $74.87 on it available for sale if anyone is interested. The timing is right with the 40% off sale. It can be redeemed electronically via the code on the back. PM me.

The collar was my disappointment on it as well. Something about it really throws off the whole jacket.

Otherwise, if I could exchange for a M, I think I'd be happy with it for the $125 I paid.

Anyone interested in picking up the Refinery29 50 for 100 deal? Not sure whether I'll end up using it, so I figure I might as well try to unload it sooner rather than later. Lmk!
