Looking to get my hands on a book that's a thorough treatment of Irish Lore and Mythology. Preferably in one volume, written in a fairly modern style, but accurate and detailed. Any ideas?

Celtic Myths and Legends by Peter Berresford Ellis might be a good place to start. Try the site Sacred-Texts.com. This site is absolutely fantastic, and it contains a vast library of mythological and esoteric texts. Read The Voyage of Bran. It is short, but the concept is amazing for the time period.

Does this go over things like Ireland's transition from Fir Bolg control to the Tuatha De Danann, the pantheon of Gods such as Lugh and Nuada, as well as the traditional stories like Cuchulain, Finn McCool, Deirdre, etc..?
