yup more than familiar with those. Mezzanine at the Hyatt and the Fullerton in Singapore both have excellent Sunday free flow brunch buffets. I was in the minority as I always prefered the Hyatt's, mostly cos I am a sucker for a good chocolate fountain.

Is that how you measure it? "I got my money's worth". Nice guest, perfect manners AND a great attitude! That's why they made it brunch, and not dinner.

Assassination? I don't think so. Just pointing out that his cost/benefit analysis is a little grasping. Length of time on this board has precious little to do with good behaviour. As I said, that's why the brunch and not a dinner, and I would hazard a guess that it was brunch at his boss's as well.

Too late but my vote is for a bouquet of flowers. It's easy to ratchet up or down and I use it whenever I have to trespass non-drinking people's hospitality.
