Regarding my diet...yeah guys. I'd say I'm 'legit' clean.

Crazy fast metabolism....most days I'll push about 400g protein, 400g carbs and 200g fat. It's a good ratio for me.

Protein-Lean red meat, chicken, fish

Carbs-Brown rice, sweet potatoes, fruits, green veggies

Fats-EVOO, natural peanut butter, natural almond butter

Only protein shakes is in the morning and pwo and fruit is only 1x in the morning. and I of course have all my basic supplementation (multivitamin, fish oil, etc).

Regarding free test.....well that was horrendous too....only .45

As far as my sex life...it sucks. Like twice a week...I don't even feel like it the rest of the week. and I'm CONSTANTLY SO FRICKIN TIRED. I mean I'll get 8 and a half GOOD hours of sleep and wake up so sleepy. Then throughout the day I'll just feel like passing out. It's horrendous.

What are the symptoms? Maybe I have it. I'm always feeling lethargic and un-energetic.

I didn't mean eating a clean diet, there are certain foods that help with testosterone production and some that inhibit it. But if your levels are that low, I don't know if it will make much of a difference.

This is accurate. Additionally, timing of the test is very important since there is some degree of circadian variation. Your doctor can repeat a morning fasting total testosterone (done around 8am), and if is persistently low, he/she can confirm with a "free and weakly bound testosterone level" as per the quote above. If you do have a low testosterone, the solution is NOT to simply start replacement testosterone, but rather to determine the etiology of the problem (ie is this primary or secondary hypogonadism). That would involve additional lab work (eg LH, FSH, prolactin, etc.), and perhaps an MRI of your pituitary if it were secondary hypogonadism. You might want to consider meeting with an endocrinologist....

That's a very low reading, man. The baseline for my 65-year-old father on TRT was not that low. Diet, OTC remedies, and lifestyle changes are not going to make a dent in your levels unless you're just currently fucking everything up (alcoholism, overtraining, insomnia, all at the same time.)

One thing I do know is, in TRT you will need to advocate for yourself. Most MDs, including endocrinologist/urologists, know fuck all about this treatment, nor are they interested in learning. The guy my dad was initially set up with was trying to give him 200mg test injections every two weeks. I can't imagine what a clusterfuck of a hormonal rollercoaster that would have been...

The two routes available for you are going to be finding a guy who specialized in TRT, like an antiaging clinic, or to get a good GP that lets you basically run your own program and puts the orders in for you. The latter will be a hell of a lot less expensive, but you will need to do your diligence. Like Metro and Why have mentioned, there is a lot more to the story than test.

I sympathize with you on the fertility thing. It's my #1 reason for not going on the juice yet.

Yeah that definitely sucks, I've noticed most M.D's are just like ehhh whatever.

I've got an appointment with an Endo in 8 days.

There you go. There are quacks out there, but don't lose faith in the medical profession. And if you are not satisfied with the person you meet, go to an academic center and see one of their clinical endocrinologist. Under no circumstances should you go to a holistic center, an "anti-aging"specialist, or anyone that's going to simply write prescriptions for you. That's almost a guaranteed recipe for disaster.
