Here are some shots of mine.  Like I said, these are about 6 months old and have been worn regularly (3-4 times per week)...

Nice boots!  It looks like you take really good care of them -- they should age really well.

They look brand new wow.gif

Thanks very much!  They do look pretty fantastic; though, I gotta say, flipping through some of the other posts in this thread, everyone's 721s look amazing.  Some of the more worn-looking ones are incredible.  Looking forward to seeing how mine age.

Thanks a lot.  I don't do too much to them.  I try not to wear them two days in a row, and I always put shoe trees in them.  I brush them fairly regularly.  And once every 2-3 months I use a little bit of saphir renovateur to clean and condition them, followed by a very sparse amount of Alden no. 8 wax.  I am following advice I found in the following video from Leffot.  I pretty much do exactly what the guy in the video does.

My first post on this thread.... your boots look amazing...I love my 721's but I have never been totally satisfied with the size of the sole.... so I had them resoled with a wider sole and some red dainite.... see what you guys think...

That changes the character of these boots and makes them look very English to me - kind of like Trickers. But having said that, I think they look awesome; good enough that I'd consider doing the same upon resoling if I owned a pair of these!

What size are those? The toe-end looks much less bulky, and the shoe-overall looks more elegant. Love the look you've created.

Thanks!  I agree they do look more like a Tricker's boot.  But with Horween Shell as opposed to the shell Tricker's uses... although some of Tricker's shell colors are pretty cool...

Cool idea. I like them. Haven't heard from my guy yet but I did tell him to take his time.

In other news, the regional sales rep stopped by the store and wanted to see my old brown 1Ks. He thinks my half sole idea is really cool, he took some notes and who knows where that'll go. Our rep was with him and he was wearing boots slated for Spring 2013. Really cool boots. Among other things we talked about were the 744s and I got something in the works involving them.

More later as things come together.....

Oh yeah, since the cat is out of the bag, sorta, I will confirm that Wolverine and Filson are doing a collaboration this Fall. On what exactly you'll just have to wait and see.

Only have lousy cell-phone pics =/.

~6weeks old - I wear them usually twice a week - they're so comfy I can't resist. I usually grab them when it's raining out, too! Hey, it's shell after all, right?

Pictured with #8 Alden PTB's at right that are noticeably glossier.
