In other Wolverine news. I was let in on a new product lineup that'll be released in the Fall. Will be very very interesting for sure. I'll be seeing the goods soon... about all I can say for now. Those pesky NDAs, gotta play nice.

I would love to see some Whiskey!!! I would buy instantly.

Can you at least tell me if there will be any new products in their 1000 Mile US made line?

I wiped my down with a damp microfiber and a light brushing and here they are today.  The darker toe cap has become more pronounced as they age.  I call it character.

I really would like to talk more but I'm going to keep quiet. I would rather err in favor of keeping our dealership versus losing it. Save your penneys it'll be worth it.

A little birdie told me today that the new 744LTD cordovan will be Brown with a cap toe. Everything else will look nearly identical. Start saving those pennies!!!

Looks really nice!  From what I understand, #8 will become lighter over time and will eventually appear a deep, rich brown.  The red dyes are the first to fade, so you're left with what's "underneath."  Keep us posted as to how they age!

More pictures that show the color variations in shell.  It's interesting how the color changes in different light -- the difference in color is more pronounced in natural sunlight.

That's what I originally thought as well, but now I'm not so sure.  A dealer actually sent me a picture of the new boot -- I don't think he was supposed to though.  Cap toe yes, brown...not so sure.

Releasing info on the 744, especially the pics is not a smart move by a dealer. Same goes for some of the other stuff in the line. When I say big I mean lose your dealership big.

I figured it wasn't a smart move on his part -- even if it was through email.  If it tells you anything, it was the same guy that posted the 744LTD pictures in this thread a little while back.  I'm kind of surprised nothing happened to him when he posted the pictures here originally.

Thats probably why he disappeared so quickly from the forum. Everyone knew his name on ebay and he posted a pic on his profile, then all of his posts were gone.

Yeah, I know he was banned from this forum after that.  I'm assuming he was banned because he posted the pictures.

Beautiful. I love that you swapped laces as it inspired me to do so as well.
