W+H ones are nice but I hate the zippers. Sometimes they flat out refuse to work. And the pulls get stuck in everything imaginable when you have it open. On the bright side they aren't too hot to wear indoors in shoulder seasons.

When it's actually cold I exclusively use an eg thermal hoodie. There's nothing that beats it.

What's the gripe with the fit on W+H hoodies? I think they only look bad when users on WAYWT thread buying them either too small or too big. If you buy the right size they are absolutely freakin gorgeous IMO, albeit I have not messed with Wings +Horns hoodies in recent years.

I think the fit on W+H hoodies started to get funny was when hey first changed their name to W+H. The classic fit on those are not flattering I must say. Broad/wide upper and long ass sleeves. The slim fit were still very very nice in terms of fit.

The best fit IMO was probably the "spade/diamond" collection when they were still Spruce.

can anyone show some photos of W+H hoodies looking bad? i've always been under the impression that they were high-quality hoodies with good fit. I was thinking of picking one up as a layering piece for the winter.

What about Loopwheeler? Do they still exist? My LW hoodies are worn near-daily and still look beautiful after a few years.

Also, can anyone tell me how the W + H tigerfleece fits in comparison to LW? I wear a Large in LW.

Wearing my W+H hoodie that I got off b/s a lot these days. Not sure what kind it is (says classic fit, has fleece on the inside and rly long cuffs). It's the best hoodie I've owned (doesn't have much competition though) but I don't think I'd pay retail for one.

Pros:
Lampo zipper does indeed slide very easily and it's only gotten snagged once
Sleek fit, interesting design.
Surprisingly warm, could probably handle any weather we get here with a layer or two underneath

Cons:
Hood is heavy enough to pull everything up and back sometimes
Squishes button up shirts in weird and unsexy ways if worn over them

if your after comfort, imo, there really is no competition. l/w is the way to go. i know a lot is being said about w + h, and im sure there great, but here are a few links to several l/w sweats: http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28 http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28 http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28 http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28 http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28 http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28 http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28 and my favorite of all (contact big to order) http://www.purebluejapan.jp/archives/2668

can anyone recommend brands that fit slim and long (I'm 6'4)? A lot of the Japanese brands I've looked at look great, but I haven't found one with enough length. I've heard that some of the W+H hoodies fit long but also that their sizing can be inconsistent.

I really tried liking the W+H hoodies, tried on several sizes in different styles, but I always disliked the fits. I even bought two, thinking they would grow on me, but ended quickly selling both.
Best hoodie I have is a Japanese made Acne from a few years ago. I have a good loopwheeled Kapital hoodie too, excellent fit with an oversized hood.

Try DRKSHDW, I saw a nice one at Barneys a month ago but it was really long, I'm sure it is meant to be worn like that but I think it will work for you. I like this one by DRKSHDW too, it zip all the way up too, comes in 3 different colors.

What's wrong with the fit of W+H hoodies? I was right about to buy one from Roden Grey before seeing this thread. Enlighten me, someone.
