Will you ship to Pennsylvania? Are you a member of the PA Liquor Control Board? Answer the second question first.

Those are for 750ml bottles? damn, didn't know beer could be that pricey without being some sort of special edition this or that (I'm thinking the sam adams one that was $300/bottle).

Those are some FANTASTIC beers. Where did you get them? Are you a collector? I can't comment on the prices, though.

My bad, I did not realize this was some older rare stuff. I also did not realize beer could command those prices. Good luck!

Does beer really attain the complexity and other attributes assocciated with vintage wines? What are the typical attributes of a beer that is aged well?

Do you mean you'd be moving out of this house soon?

You'd have more luck selling these on beeradvocate.com

If these don't sell, can I come to the party?

Actually more so. With wine you are limited to one medium, so there is a proven limited amount of flavors you can get with wine, where as with beer it is virtually unlimited. Then you throw in the CO2 effect and it is no wonder beer is, and has been, gaining such ground with food pairings. Certain styles age much better than others meaning they produce more appealing flavor profiles after aging. I prefer to drink hop-forward style beers as fresh as possible because the aromatics dissipate rapidly even though there are plenty with the strength to age for years to come. Certain Belgian strong ales and barleywines I prefer laying down for a few years.

I can't speak for the other beers, but Dark Lord is a 13% ABV imperial stout sold in limited quantites, one day per year at Three Floyds brewpub. It's one of the highest rated craft beers in the country. 2004 is a rare vintage, so $400 isn't out of the question.
