Meeting Up with a Girl, Forgot What She Looks Like - Advice?

So my birthday was this past weekend and I met a girl at a bar. Being my birthday, I was absolutely hammered and was in that state when I met her. Ended up getting her name (first only) and number after talking and dancing for a bit (didn't remember doing either). I thought nothing of the incident and chalked it up to drunk activity, but she ended up texting me the next day and we have been exchanging texts for a couple of days.

We decided to meet up this Sunday night (at a bar) and I agreed...but I am absolutely mortified because I completely forgot what she looked like! All I remember was that she was a brunette. My friends, who were more sober than I, tells me that she is really cute but that does not help me at all.

If I had known her last name, I go into facebook stalk made but I do not have that information. Would it be weird to ask her for her last name? If that doesn't work, come the day of - do I just chill and see if she comes up to me? Or ask girls who I think are her are her? How would you handle this situation?

Yeah, maybe I am thinking about this way too much, but I really don't want to embarrass myself on Sunday.

I would probably just call her on Sunday and say that I wanted to meet her at her car...ask her what type of car/where she's parking/meet her there and walk with her to the bar... Don't ask her for her last name. That's weird

I would not ask her for her last name. The best approach would be to arrive early and make sure you are there before her, that way she has to come up to you. If she has already arrived and sees you looking around asking random girls you think are her, that is not gonna go over well.

^ +1 I was in close to your same situation, all i remember was that she was a brunette and had a tattoo on her left shoulder blade, and this worked perfectly. Make her come to you lol

yeah change to a venue where you can meet up 1 on 1. or offer to pick her up or something.

Thanks for all the advice guys...really appreciate it. Yeah, probably not going to ask for her last name...don't want to scare her off before I meet her, right?

And I'm all for her taking the lead and calling me out (sitting in front) so I don't have to do the guess work. But...

This is what I was afraid of! If worse comes to worse, I will try to make eye contact with all the girls who I think are her. First one to smile back/makes the slighest gesture of recognition WINS!

I REALLY don't hope this is the case. I know she isn't fat (at least her top half...she could have a pear shaped body) but still. If anything, we'll share some drinks and hopefully have a decent conversation.

I would actually prefer picking her up. But if things become a shit-show for whatever reason, I would have to make the awful drive back with her too

Maybe try throwing a neg at meeting time... i.e. where the heck are you? You aren't wearing something goofy like that girl in the zebra dress are you? answer: no silly, im by the back bar in the black peacoat. location and description solved.
