Put the phone down, please

Do any of you have friends that carry on a conversation with you while having their face buried in their cell phone? How do people text for hours on end? Don't they get irritated? The stupidity of sending hundreds of texts a day boggles my mind. Tell the girlfriend to shut the fuck up. Tell her to get a job. Read a book. Learn a new language. Make goddamn dinner. Find something to do that doesn't entail bothering people. Guess what, stupid? Responding to all her texts just encourages her to send more. It's time to put the phone down. Do it for your sake. Do it for mine.

There are people who cannot fathom ignoring someone's text. Because it's "rude". These same people will often answer their phone only to say "I'm busy...may I call you later?" When I'm "busy" I don't answer the phone at all. It's not likely they'll change so if it annoys you that much spend less time with them

it's more about texting less period. What is so freaking important that you need to be on that phone all the time. Checking your facebook page every five minutes etc...

Yeah, I never understood this phenomenon. I went on a date with this girl once and when she got a call she silenced the ringer without even looking at the screen. Wanted to wife her then and there.

The best thing is going to a dinner in LA. Look at a table of girls out for the night and you will see all of theem texting while sitting at the table waiting for the food. No one speaks to each other. Funny to watchh!
