a price? i don't feel like calculating the median of 6,000 recent ebay sales for you. thanks!

  • OS X 10.5
  • 13.3-inch display
  • 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 120 GB hard disk
  • Standard CD-RW/DVD optical drive
  • Extra mini-DVI to full-size DVI adapter included (never used)
I have never had any problems with this computer, but it's time for me to upgrade to an iMac. The battery life is still very long because I was always careful to drain the battery all the way and charge all the way, and usually use AC power. This photo shows the only flaw: a missing piece of the case about 1.5 cm in length and 2 to 3 mm in width. Not very noticeable.

Drain the battery all the way = 0%? if so there's substantial evidence showing excessively draining the battery is harmful....a safe wange is 20% to 80% (apparently charging all the way is harmful) Leaving the laptop on AC Power with the battery attached is a bad habit (or so I heard from many sources) as the charge fluctuates from 98% to 100% with usage and puts stress on the battery.. I already have a laptop and even if I didn't I wouldnt buy since I'm a windows user and a tablet user at that.

Good for you.

Seriously, why is this relevant?

All I can say is this is what I did, and the battery still works very well. (I report; you decide.)

Price drop to 450 shipped. If someone doesn't pick this up real soon I will have to move it to eBay (like, tomorrow).

Usually I post on FS threads if I'm interested but it's just that it's justification on why I will not be purchasing this laptop even though the offer is very good

The chip in the topcase by the palm rest is a known Apple problem. Many people are able to get it replaced by Apple, even out of warranty.
