The store looks amazing. Yfyf, did you devise the design / layout yourself?
No, it was done by a good friend of mine, Katherine Wong, who is an outstanding architect and went to RISD (right next door to my alma mater), though we were obviously very involved in the process. I wanted something that was cosy and friendly and it was important the store didn't feel contrived. While the old-school English club room look has its charms, it gets cheesy fast. Especially if you don't have any history to back it up. If anyone is ever interested, I could write a little "Making of The Armoury" post.
I had a lot of help from really talented friends on this project. It was amazing, every time I had some need for some specialty skill, there was always someone I knew who could complete the task extremely effectively. I feel most fortunate.

I don't think we implemented an RSS feature on the blog.
Oh, that's a shame. FWIW, aside from a mailing list, it's a good way to keep tons of people in the loop.
I think that's a good point. I never use RSS myself but I know a lot of people that do. I'll ask about it. We have a little facebook group too that I update quite regularly, http://www.facebook.com/thearmouryhk
