I'd say somewhere in between, but wait for NORE to post some photos from outside in sunlight. I think he's right that they look a bit different in different light. I got home at midnight and it was raining this morning, so these are just in artificial light inside.

Actually my pics are on here somewhere and they look like yours-milk chocolate in some light, dark chocolate in others. They are great either way and the Simpson last is very elegant.

Agreed, the last was perfect for me as well.

An alternative to trying to antique them, you could try a mirror shine like this:

Really regret not being able to stop by yesterday, but the typhoon alert had stores closed, which relegated my shopping to "window" shopping. Since there was nothing else to do because of all the closings, I browsed store windows all the way from the IFC to Pacific Place, and the wonderful shops in between. I saw the Pedder Building, home of Armoury. The opportunity for shopping in HK is amazing, it has all the better shops.

HK is a wonderful place. I've had loads of fun here, and will definitely be back.

^ and from what TD told me, the pedder building will go through some improvements, and new establishments like a cigar shop are expected to come in that will make the home of armoury a great destination.

The cigar shop has been there for awhile now. Are you speaking of A&Fitch moving in downstairs?

The suede chelseas are with a single leather sole. Our Carmina chukkas and suede brogues are with dainite soles if you need it. Or we can always do an MTO for you. Contact info@thearmoury.com for assistance.

1 year anniversary on Oct 20th. Seems like yesterday ...

We have a very nice gift prepared for our VIPs and have a quiet drinks thing at the shop on the night.

In terms of new stock, just had the Orazio Luciano (La Vera) trunk show, they brought a few new bits and bobs.

Ring Jacket trunk show is this weekend starting Friday, we are also working on a new collaboration with them, hopefully it will be ready for 2012!

We don't have a bunch at our store in HK but WW Chan in Kowloon does have the book, I believe. They make great flannel.
