Thank you very much for your kind response; I truly appreciate it.

Although I do not yet have any winter knit ties - and I would like this to change - I see your point; it's the material which plays the most important role in the formation of the knot. While, however, we can do nothing about it, we can always improve the proportions by widening the tie at 7cm of width! I believe that you have already got my point.

I completely understand that your make-ups for now are the said ones, but I can only hope for the future. BTW, your new offerings, namely the two solids (navy and blue) with the sewn crown/crest are just fantastic; Halas, again at 6.5cm of width.

Finally, I will appreciate if at any point of time you'd feel like contributing to a thread that I recently started due to my love for knit ties.

Best Regards

Dimitris

Hi Dimitris,

My pleasure, that's what I'm here for.  We are a fan of the crest ties as well!

I'll make sure to keep an eye on the knit tie thread, great idea.

Just placed my first ever order with The Armoury, two pairs of Carminas that I realllly hope work for me, and I'm already a big fan.

I received an email that said one of the shoes I purchased was only left as a floor model in my size. Because of that, there's a few creases that come from light wear, but to make up for the wearing, they're sending me a free pair of shoe trees.

This type of service (before I've even gotten my shoes!) really goes a long way with me. I'll be purchasing through The Armoury again.

(And I really hope at least one of these lasts work for me...)

Question about the Justo Gimena Teba, I ordered one but fearing will be too small (in olive) basically I'm a 57L and ordered a 56, couldn't resist and curious if based on the cut/ style it might work, will find out in a few days, any thoughts?

Also curious how the ascot chang polo's fit? slim etc.

Just got the AC short sleeve polo, the measurements on their website is very accurate.

I would say its a "slimish" fit.

Length is a bit long though.

Hi HS,

It's hard to say, but I hope for the best!  Let us know how it works out.

For the polos, they are a relatively slim fit, but you can always check the measurement charts on the website for a more detailed look.

Hi,

Hope that it worked out!

And yes, we intentionally made them a bit longer because we often tuck them in and wear them with tailoring in the summer months.

At the moment, Dembech only visits Hong Kong, but we'd be very excited to host them in the U.S.  If that ever happens I'll make sure to let you know.

All the best,

Jeff

Thanks for the clarification Jeff.

One more question, i find the collar quite high.

Was that part of the design as well?

Yes it was.  The polos are constructed with a true collar band just like a regular dress shirt, so they tend to stand up just like an open collar shirt.  Again, this was a design element that we chose so that it would be easier to wear them with tailoring.  Hope that helps!

All the best,

Jeff

Jeff...what about Yohei Fukuda...any discussion if he'll ever make the journey to NYC for bespoke orders?

Hi PCK,

At the moment, Fukuda is going to be Hong Kong only, at least for the first year but it's certainly possible that you will see him in NYC after that.  Will keep everyone posted.

Sorry for the vagueness of my responses, it's just the most up-to-date information that I have.

Thanks,

Jeff
