Couple questions about the U-Tip fox suede shoe that Mark posted on the tumblr (http://thearmoury.tumblr.com/image/95501734120):

1. Would I take the same size in the modified Rain as I would in the standard Rain?

2. What sizes are available in this shoe?

3. I'm assuming fox is lighter and a bit redder than snuff?

4. What would the damage be on these?

5. Mark called it a derby on tumblr, but isn't this an oxford (looks sort of adelaide-ish).

Thanks!

Eric

Hey Eric,

These will actually be online very soon, but I've included the pictures below that should answer most of your questions.

1) No need to adjust size wise, take the same size as the normal rain

2) What size do you need?

3) This particular suede is a little more egg-yolky actually, but yes a bit more red.  See the pictures for a better description as those are perfectly color accurate.

4) $550

5) It's an oxford, c'mon Mark!

6) The sole is leather.

Jeff,

I'd need 7.5 UK. Thanks south for the quick reply. Was actually in NYC last week for work but didn't get time to stop by unfortunately! I'll be in touch about these. Any chance you could post a pic of the fox suede next to snuff to get a sense of the difference?

Thanks,
Eric

Hey Eric, we actually don't have anything in the store in true fox suede really.  Here is a picture of Carmina's Tan, Snuff, and Tobacco suede all next to each other.  FYI, the U-tips are Tobacco Suede.

Got it. So these are tobacco, not fox. Many thanks for the comparison pic. I'll be in touch!

Carmina technically calls this Tobacco Suede, but the shade is what many would call Fox Suede.  Hopefully the picture above helped!

I put a enquiry in with the armoury in hk about a week ago as I only have Ethan's email and obviously he's left. And no response. Not the best customer service....

Hey OJones, did you send it directly to Ethan or did you email info (at) thearmoury (dot) com?

I apologize that no one's responded yet.  If you'd please forward your email directly to me, I'll make sure we take care of it.  I will PM you my email in a minute.

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff- i appreciate your swift reply. I sent an enquiry via the website as I don't have anyone else's email details- I lived in HK until a year ago and Ethan was always my contact.

I'll get back to you by DM. Cheers.
