sansa clip it's small cheap and sound good too.

Sansa clip is good because of the miniSD card expansion option. You can store a lot more than you can on the biggest Ipod Nano at the third of the price. It also has a customizable EQ unlike the Ipod and you don't have to go through iTunes to load songs. Just be sure to charge it every day.

Sorry to necro but everytime I pull my Sansa clip out for yet another workout/run I think I should update this thread, so I finally am.

With so many people chiming in for the sansa clip, I got one around the time the thread died - say October 2010. I've had it ever since and can't be happier. II don't mean to shill for it, but it was $50 or so very well spent. Heck, it's even proved more water-resistant through Florida downpours than other 'sports' mp3 players I had in the past.

A very belated thanks to everyone who steered me right!

it's a very good MP3 player.

my audio/headphone jack recently starting going and the left/right was cutting out.

I just bought a new one.
$35 well spent!

the old one lasted long enough and I destroy my stuff biggrin.gif
