The okra hate thread

Man, I know I'm in the minority down here, but I have to get this off my chest. I hate okra.

I hate okra with a passion I normally reserve for people who beat their pets.
I hate okra with the fury of a thousand suns.
I would like to make serving okra a felony offense, or a class C misdemeanor if I must compromise.
And the punishment for serving okra would have to be death by kancho.

I do not like okra either. Some people love it too. I'll never get it. I've only had it once where I liked it. It was fried with a really strong sauce.

Asians and Indians tend to love it.

I can't even eat that. Best I can manage is wrapping okra in cornbread, but that's a lot of damn cornbread to defile at one sitting.

I like Okra in my Turkey Gumbo. Haven't had it in like 6 months though. Will be nice during the upcoming colder weather though.
