I thought "She's pretending not to look at me, but I have a feeling she'll come around." 10 minutes later, she appeared over the seat divider in front of me and asked if I was eating alone and would like to join her. I was happy to do so because she was tall and attractive, partially (maybe mostly) but also I was eating alone and didn't mind the company.

The next day, I was coming home at night from a long day and was listening to music on the bus. The girl in the seat near me tapped my arm and asked what stop I was going to, and said she'd let me know when my stop came up. I could tell she wanted to talk, so despite being tired and not in a terribly good mood I humored her for the 30 minutes or so until my stop. That was a bit annoying, but I'm not sure if it's because I was tired, or she wasn't very attractive.

From guys, a single compliment will suffice but don't fucking jabber on and on ok?

also there is nothing more pathetic than a random what-are-my-chances come-on followed by a lame "just kidding!" when they get shut down. Yes, it's transparent.
Good work!
