i'm probably getting it. per mauro, his brother works for EA and has been playing it for some time and says it's awesome. there are reviews popping up here and there that are quite favorable for multiplayer. one said it strikes a balance between CoD and Battlefield in terms of multi. Requires lots of teamwork like Battlefield but you have the constant battle action like CoD. One gripe has been the respawns have been a little erratic, but that can probably be cured with some additional patches.

Played a bit of BFBC:2 today. It's a pretty good game but with some tweaks it could be much better. Personally, I'm not a fan of vehicles and hope they dont include them in the game.
