Despite dating someone at the moment, I find myself wanting get out a little more, just to show off a little. Esp, now that summer is gone, and I can dress well again, with my totally revamped head to toe wardrobe over the last 9 months... What place do you make sure you're dressed properly, b/c there is a 90% chance you'll be mingling (or at least be seen). Shopping at a certain store? Certain social/charity events? Certain cultural events? Certain bars/lounges? What's your favorite?

No, I'd get skewered there. Plus, it would be all guys. I prefer to be out amongst the "ill-fitting" hoipolloi.

I just dress well everywhere I go in NYC. Simplifies things a bit I think.

Best spots to pickup chicks are probably the following three (in order of easiness). I am well-regarded as a leading PUA on these forums so you should probably take me at my word.

1) East NY, Brooklyn. Probably the best selection of hot hipster girls anywhere in the area. It works best if you peacock here and wear shiny clothing.

2) The Toolbox - a sweet Columbia area bar that allows you access to the best of this Ivy League's ranks.

3) Chelsea - the entire area smells of sex. I recommend lots of leather/pleather.
