FWIW, I like Aldens more than Berluti/Corthay/Santoni. Don't get me wrong, I love Italian and French things, but the best makers on the contnent are always the ones who are the closest to British or American in style. It is when the designs get too carried away that they start to look slick, and there is nothing worse in my mind than slick. This is why, to my eye, Luciano Barbera clothing is so much more attractive than the more etnically Italian stuff like Borrelli or Attolini, but that is just my opinion.
