Winter of leisure in which city?

So I've been working 7/day weeks for quite a while and plan to take the winter to decompress a bit and plan for next season. (I own a seasonal business). I intend to take 5 months to relax a bit, do some light work I don't want to spend more than about $20,000-$25,000.

To be honest, will mainly be chasing girls and working out. I want to focus on my health because I totally burn the candle at both ends during the summer. I love cooking, organic food, farmer's markets and that sort of thing. I'm a bit of a health nut. I will likely travel some(not included in the budget, thinking spain and then iceland in the spring). Currently in a yuppie town in NE, way too stuffy in the winter. I would like to establish a home base in a clean healthy city somewhere for the winter. Any recommendations?

Important factors are good food(of fresh market type, i'm a total food snob, grew up on a farm), abundance of healthy, fun girls.

I have tons of friends in both NYC and Boston. So I'm seriously considering either of those. I do love manhattan.

I also love the sun, beach and surfing so Southern California has come to mind. The foodie culture of California in general is very appealing to me.

Austin Texas and Boulder Colorado have both been strongly recommended to me by friends.

I used to live in Florida and will not be considering it. It struck me as vacuous and classless for the most part.

Or I might just try a few places out, sublet for a month here and there. Anyway I've love some ideas from members with experience in these places.

I'd also consider Australia. I could increase the budget some if it would be worth it.

Well I'll add to your friends recommendations for Boulder, Colorado. Boulder has an amazing organic food scene with one of the best farmers markets around. It has been consistently voted one the healthiest cities in the world. If you're looking for girls, CU Boulder has some of the finest and thousands of them. Boulder has 300 days of sunshine a year, and you said you'll be there in the winter, so if you like skiing the worlds best is only an hour and a half away. Feel free to ask me any questions, I just moved here from a small town south of Boston.

Socal definitely has a lot of Farmer's Markets - one every day if you drive around. Santa Barbara is terrific, so is La Jolla. Both have hotties, SB has more 18-24 year olds because it's a college town.

Temperature-wise, Southern California along the coast gets into the low 60s for much of the winter. Night time actually gets pretty cool and breezy.

Austin Texas for sure. I think that's the best US option. If I wasn't being forced to move to LA, I would be strongly considering living there in the winter.
