FS: Alden boots, 10.5c, Leather Soul NST tankers, shell cordovan, color #8

These are Leather Soul's Hawaiian tankers, or NST boots, whatever you call them: they're fantastic cordovan boots with the commando sole. I finally have to admit to myself that these are too small for me. Ordered new from Leather Soul, waited six months, absolutely love the way they look and feel, but: they're not as good for walking in as I would like, just a bit too tight. Worn about 15 times or so, broken in but not worn hard. Just polished for the first time today. 465.00 > 442.00 shipped in ConUS.
They're on the Barrie last, size is 10.5 c. I'll miss them, Spats.

I usually buy an 11d in most dress shoes, sometimes a c width if available. These are just a tad tight across the instep on the larger of my two feet. Not so much that I can't wear them, but on the other hand, I don't think cordovan stretches. I think a heavy boot fits more comfortably with a thicker-than-dress sock, too. So while I have successfully worn a 10.5 Barrie last shoe before, I find these, as a said, to be just a bit tighter than I want. I hope this helps. -S.
