This band fucking infuriates me.

Mostly because "Meet me halfway" and "Imma Be" (particularly the second half) are the catchiest songs of the year.

But I know they suck.

It's like hatefucking.

Edited just a few words, and pulled out a quote I agree with.

I trust my superior musical taste to anyone else's, and even I can vouch for the catchy-ness of some of their hits (the ones less influenced by nu-rap club beatz).

Well, for Imma be, at least Rob Base and EZ Rock are getting paid, so I'm in favor of that.

While BEP are super un-original, I do give them credit for their taste in who they rip-off (rob base, daft punk, etc).

Not sure what you're hearing in these songs. The two versions I heard were somewhat lackluster, but they were the singles mixes, not the club mixes.

They do churn out some undeniably catchy shit every so often. They suck, but you can't help yourself.

At this point someone is going to chime in with the usual "Pre-Fergie Black Eyed Peas rawked!" And no, no they did not. They were just less catchy, less bubblegum, and less one hot-bodied butterface.

I vote "All I do is Win" as by far the worst song of the year.

plus, centuries from now, historians will conclude that the day the song "My Hump" was released was the start of the decline of this civilization

Well that song just sucks. As does the 3008 song or whatever she says. The two I mentioned are actually...good.

I can see that line in American Psycho: The Next Generation when it is released in 2025.

As far as clubby/t-painy/rap songs go, I really like it.

BY FAR, anything by Kesha is far worse.

Agree on the BEP combo of hate and catchiness.
