Free UO client download and no monthly fee for an account. People who played UO back in the day will also be excited as it is pretty close to pre-pub 16 rules. It would be cool to get a group going. Skill gain is very quick so you can jump in the action pretty quickly. if anyone gives it a shot let me know and I will log in and help out.

Weak sauce. PvP on this shard:

Quote:
5. PvP:
a. No Player Killing. PvP/Dueling is allowed only in the PvP dungeon or in a private house owned by one of the participants, but only if all of the participants are explicitly informed of the attacker's intentions.
b. PvP is by some players seen as offensive, and frightening - do your fighting in a private place - or you can be warned/killed/jailed.
c. No indirect player killing, such as intentionally causing a monster to go near a player that was not informed of your actions.
d. We take all non-agreed player-harmful actions very seriously, the penalties for which can be jail or ban.

I'd be down for starting an SF-UO group, but not on this shard.

That is true, there is no PvP. Skill gains were easy so I enjoyed that. If you find a good shard PM me and I'll give it a shot. I think Lawyerdad and maybe JPierpoint played UO as well. I think Lawyerdad was on Seige back in the day.

Powerscrolls spawns are in fel and the monsters are more difficult.

UO Second Age and Angel Island are the best I've played on so far. I've got some stuff on an account on UOSA so starting there would be easy. AI was great but too low of a population. I'll do some research and get back to you.

Any SF'ers playing Cataclysm? If so, what's it like? Especially the PvP (Rated BGs and I hear the new arena season started).

I was always an arena junkie in WoW.
