Hint: It concerns a 1960s Porn Female Icon ( though it is in no way Porn related ) and the icon died a few years ago. Completely "twins safe".

You keep saying that, and I keep checking the old Fillmore corner when I go to the Ukranian butcher. same answer - no sign of memorial

Bought one of these for the office: http://www.creativecookware.com/incanto.htm

And use one of these to add hot water (I don't find the water from that espresso machine is hot enough) to make Americanos: http://www.zojirushi.com/ourproducts...ts/cd_lcc.html

So cost of coffee at work is zero, since company buys the beans, cream, etc.

At home my wife buys your garden variety ground coffee in a tin which we use in an Aeropress -- she goes through 5 cups a day and together we drink about 16 a day on the weekend (cups meaning the actual volume measure as opposed to the mugs we drink from). I have no idea what this costs us, but given her general frugality, I don't imagine it is very much.

lol (at, not with), you are classic.

About a dollar a day for me, I either get some organic fair-trade stuff from a place called Square One in Lancaster or some Trader Joe's. I've bewn using an Aeropress for the last few months and I really dig it.

But what good are those trips to Italy if you have not developed an appreciation for the espresso?

Why is there a jock strap attached to that Chemex?
hmm, Chemex called it antiquing and said it would add flavor.

I have a cup 5 minutes after I wake up (the one made with the Bialetti Moka).

We have a couple of Nespresso machines at the office ( I take 2 shots of the black one).

And one double Spanish espresso (a bit watered down version of the Italian espresso) with my sandwich at late breakfast (9:00).

I guess I spend about 5€ a day on coffee.

about $6 midday.

maybe $5, but not per day, as some times can always get free coffee

I used to spend $6-10, but finally realized how much that adds up to in a year... now I spend $2-4!

Recommendations for white chocolate sauces for home-style dranks? I've only used Torani, but would like to try something better.

I've switched from triple caps at $4.00 a pop to expresso machiatos for $2.15 or an Earl Grey for $1.95. Same angst provoking buzz, too.
