2010 chippewa chocolate boot - Page 2

I picked up a pair recently, 11d. I LOVE them, I can barely stand to wear anything else at the moment. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I just ordered the version of this boot with the lugged sole. I ordered them half a size down from what I usually wear in Nike/NB sneakers and basketball shoes based on what people have been saying about the Katahdin fit on the other thread. Can anyone comment on the fit?

Just bought a pair of these in the 8 inch version, and I love them. They aren't gonna be too bad to break in as long as I don't decide to go on a hike anytime soon.

The color out of the box is great....it's a shame that I need to put on some Sno-Seal or something (we've had 20+ inches in the last week).

Really, compared to the Khatadins the are a great boot, just slightly different. They don't have a goodyear welt, no captoe, and the top lace isn't a speedlace.

I'd love to help people and post a picture, but I left my camera back at college for break.

Where did you buy this version with the lug sole? I can't find it

^ I got them from onlinebootstore.com with promo code "topten" for $10 bucks off with free shipping came out to around $130.
