finally got a cocktail shaker

I don't drink many cocktails. I tend to just drink liquor straight or on the rocks.

I've always just drank what few cocktails I make on the rocks and stirred. I spotted a shaker for cheap the other day and as a result I've been drinking some cocktails shaken instead.

I have to say, I think I prefer shaken cocktails. With no ice in the glass, they have a consistent taste throughout. Although, if I don't drink them fast enough they do warm up.

I guess I'm trading temperature increase for water content increase. For now, I'm siding with the temperature increase.

Welcome to the world of cocktail shaking. Make sure to perfect your technique before doing it in front of others. Shaking the mix poorly can make you look like a lunatic.

Don't worry, my stirring techniques already made me look like an idiot. Can't get any worse.

But it probably hasnt been done before because it is an awful idea. What kind of guy wants a cocktail while watching football?

Wow. This is a monumentally bad spam post. It is the Mt. Rushmore of spam.

In retrospect, shaking a rum and coke is not the best idea.

Most boring bartender I've ever witnessed was in a small dive bar in New York State, just over the Delaware River from Pennsylvania. He literally sat and watched television and didn't pay attention to the clientele at all. You had to yell at him to get his attention, and then he would just stare at you blankly while you ordered. He didn't speak even once, hell, he might have been mute. Boring as anything.
