Is smoking a dating dealbreaker for you? - Page 2

I dated this girl off and on for about 3 years. More off than on. Broke my heart twice. Most amazing body I had ever seen. On film or not. Her body was sick. Something a porn star pays for but hers was all natural. When we dated the first time she was 22 and I was 28. That age difference was too much for her. A couple years later, I let her get close to me again and the age difference freaked her out again and she broke my heart a second time. Fast forward 2 more years. Now she's pursuing me. The smoking never bothered me before but then I thought, "no way do I want to get serious with someone who chooses to poison herself everyday and do her best to age at a much faster rate than I will." So, I put the breaks on and said I wouldn't get serious with someone who smoked and told her we could still hang out but we couldn't really date. She quit. Not kidding. We just celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary.

The one girl I dated who smoked also just happen to give the best BJs I've ever had. She did it once while taking a pee at the same time. Was hot.

There are girlswho don't smoke, at least socially??? weird...

No. I'd rather not deal with someone who smokes a pack a day due to the smell, but a few here and there isn't a big deal to me. I do it myself when I'm not training.

Social smoking is okay.

Habitual smoking depends on how much.

Social smoking I wouldn't care, chain smoking I couldn't deal with. If they lit up when we were at a bar or a club, whatever. I think I'd say, my line would be if they couldn't make it through a movie without going for a smoke I'd have issues... if they smoke less than that, I can handle it. Never dated a smoker, I've made out with chicks who have been smoking (cigs and weed) at parties and such and it never really bothered me.

All this "AND THEY TASTES LIKE AN ASHTRAY" is silly ??? I've experienced girls who tasted worse than ashtrays...

Doesn't bother me in the least, probably because I've never considered any relationship as long-term. For marriage material, definitely a deal-breaker if she can't quit... shit is bad for indoor air quality and long term health when you and your kids are living with her, unless she follows an extremely strict outside-only policy. Even then, I wouldn't want my kids to lose their mom to some sort of cancer.

Then again, my great-grandmother smoked until she was 95.

Dealbreaker. Smoking is so unattractive IMO.

Not a deal breaker for me. I don't smoke ever but lord knows I have my own vices. I also find it sexy.

Though for a long-term, serious monogamous relationship it wouldn't work, mostly just because of my high sensitivity to tobacco (asthmatic.)

Much like a tat, it screams "It won't take much to get me into the sack"

kind of depends. if the girl is "just another girl" and someone i don't really see as relationship/wife material, i'm probably not willing to deal with the smoking. smoking is just really gross to me. BUT, if i actually like the girl and think that i could see myself with her for a long time...yeah that's fine she can smoke. i'll get over it.

Non-smoking is a dealbreaker for me.

I find girls who smoke to be more exciting and tend to enjoy drinking a lot more!

It's not a deal breaker.

Biggest deal breaker for me is being fat
