That was some time ago.

the wonky-legged-stooled dive bar still stands, the wing-chaired gentleman's club is now a rotary club conference room

You used the bar metaphor when we were in a bar in Saigon few months back. We were slowly getting plastered and you were sandwiching the cute waitress with your Canadian buddy. Or was I quoting to you something I read about you saying something to that effect. Alcohol really ferks you up.

BTW, I have a Hanoi trip in November-ish? You around there?

I am the fourth most senior member of SF who still posts regularly. Basically the president pro tempore of SF, which is fitting because I don't do much these days besides post in MMA and DC related threads. I am hoping that one day j will hop on his motorcycle and head for parts unknown, Steve B. will join the Tea Party, GQgeek will get a girlfriend, and SF will be MINE.

Why, hello Mr. Haig.

Yes. Very good advice here.

I joined this forum about a year before the OP. I visit it occasionally, sometimes to kill time and sometimes to check out a particular item or style type. So far I've made 113 posts.
The Op has in excess of 3000 posts and spends a major part of his life here. If you like it stay and if you don't like it leave. I don't mean this to be rude, but maybe it's time to look at another hobby.

My posts-per-day have declined dramatically.

Good people, a great place to learn about almost anything I could dream of and B&S saves me a fortune. I wonder if I should confess here that I am really not that interested in clothes?

Travel and lifestyle tips. The forum also has active memberships in NYC, Los Angeles, and, suprisingly, Atlanta. I live in the NYC metro and have longterm plans to move back to the Westcoast or the ATL.

I've also met quite a few people from the forum, especially among the NYC contingent.

PS: I still have an interest in shoes, clothes, and watches.
