Website sucks though, better info here and a great place to buy from, this is where I got my pair of Rockers in 39 and they were great.

Good job on the weight loss also, keep it up. I bought these when about a year and a half ago, wore them for 6 months and loved them and then started loosing weight. I'm down to a 33" right now and it's great, but I totally get wanting nice denim in a bigger size. No reason you can rock some good jeans while you're working on the weight loss....just be careful, it gets expensive having to buy all new clothes, especially when you have to do it a couple times as you keep loosing. Try to score some stuff off the forum used because then you can often sell it for what you paid for it which makes things a little easier.

Also, I still have my 39" Jean Shop rockers in a pretty broken in state (6 months of solid wear and a few washes). If you are interested in a broken in pair for real cheap let me know, they are just sitting around now and I have nothing to do with them.

but wanna, if your after a really good cut i would look at the oni blue or red cut. the denim is slubby (woven irregular) which has a great feel and fades extremely well. the oni cuts also have a great front rise! you should check em out!

you can't think of anything more classy for less money with respect to this occasion? They make chinos and slacks and whatnot in your size, no doubt, and you never can be overdressed. A lot of people who see raw denim in certain circumstances think "jeans", not "amazing jeans".
