Express?? Better options

Anyone wear express??? Ive read that its not cool anymore, but the stuff fits me very well. What else is available at that price range? I am talking Winter wear.

Got this cardigan as a gift. Like it and want to try another color? Should I even buy from express? If so, What shirt, t-shirt options go with this cardigan?

Can you wear a cardigan and sneakers?

It doesn't really have to do w/ "cool" or "uncool"; some express stuff is all right. Most of it, however, is loud and overdesigned. Moreover, a lot of express stuff just looks cheap (and is cheap). It's basically clothes for the fashion-minded man who's too lazy or poor to venture beyond his mall. That cardigan would be all right (albeit boring & cheap-looking) were it not for the ugly logo. I think the consensus here is that you can get better mall clothes from places like Gap & J. Crew.

Express is still cool. I think they fill a gap that is very under represented in the mall market. They offer high quality low cost clothing for young adults that the other brands just can't do. I personally wear my cardigans with a white seek v neck t underneath tight Jean cut offs and boat shoes for the spring. I often wear an oversized beanie as well. In the winter I just wear super skinny jeans and necklaces that hang low etc. I'd also recomend urban outfitters for a more casual cool vibe.

When ready, move on to Diesel

Diesel suffers from the same problems as express - overdesign in the face of poor quality materials. Some Diesel Black Gold stuff is ok looking

haven't been near one in like 6 months, but back in uni, i bought a few shirts on sale from them.

very nice cut, but probably the shittiest fabric i've ever seen on a shirt. i like how the shirts have a bit of stretch so you can have a slim fit without it being constricting, but the fabric doesn't breathe at all, and feels/looks like paper.

i have one of the 100% cotton shirts too, and the fabric is a bit better, but still pretty awful. i have asda shirts i bought for £3 that are made of softer fabric.

Macy's got into the whole TR, 7FAM, R&R "designer jeans" thing just as the appeal of them started going down and the economy tanked.

Express is cool, I just recently bought a button down shirt from them. They're like J.Crew or Banana Republic in terms of status I think.
