Edit: I should clarify that my manbag has only one strap (which is adjustable) and no handles and the strap is more than long enough for the manbag to be worn across the opposite shoulder as a micro-satchel (measuring only 9"x7.4"x4").
Why don't you post pics of "the manbag" on you? I think the Steve Mono bags, all made for the male audience, also have thin straps.
I also agree with Softy (hello!) re weight bearing.
