Canadian whisky - Page 2

Crown and water is my go-to bar drink, particularly when places have $2 call nights - Crown is too sweet to sip, but cut it with water and it has a very mellow flavor with just enough bite to remind you that you're drinking booze rather than iced tea.

Canadian whisky was the first stuff I really drank back in my teens. Crown when I could get it and handles of Seagram's when I couldn't. I still have a fondness for it, but I suspect that's more from nostalgia than anything else; I usually drink bourbon and scotch these days when I'm feeling whisk(e)yish.

wisers 18 is pretty much my go to wisky right now. the price is fantastic for the quality. very smooth, a little less sweet than bourbon, but without some of the things that I don't like about scotch. I also give it as gifts - its the type of thing that most americans haven't encountered.

Ah yes, that was it - thanks.
