It's more understandable, if a member is selling something below cost out of generosity. Then the member takes advantage of the generosity and flips it. However in this case, it seems he just bought it at yoox? From my observations, there are a bunch of sellers buying many things on sale with "flipping" in mind. For instance a seller may pick up a bunch of Isaia shirts at a saks fifth outlet, then sell them here to make a profit. Saks may be a B&M, it's not the exact same thing but I don't see such a huge difference that should requite such ill words. My opinion is why fret, if he's not offering a good deal then no one will buy it. If he is offering a good deal then someone will be happy to buy it. Fok (I'm responding in your thread so we don't bump this thing): The difference between a Yoox or other internet flip and reselling from a B&M is that everyone has access to the internet, and we can't all walk down to the local consignment store, or Century 21. And despite protestations to the contrary, Styleforum
is a community, and use of the B&S forum is a privilege, not a right. In any case, it's not egregiously antisocial of him, or I'd just have just closed or deleted the thread.
