johnH- very sorry, I'm caught up on my email right now and it seems you haven't got a response? Send over another, I'd be happy to get your order sorted out as it seems you haven't received it yet.

My order did finally arrive, it's getting forwarded to my current address.

I'm sure it will all look good, I really seem to be the only one who had major issues so I'll chalk this up as a fluke and order a bottle opener soon.

So do we order through that Blue Owl Workshop website now, as opposed to through his website?

You can go directly to Eric, and I suggest you do especially for custom work items. We carry several basics that are in stock and available, so if you are looking for a standard belt you can come to us.

Pretty happy with my corter belt and cardholder, and I've got the bottle hook thing on the way.

I guess I messed up the sizing on the bracelet and it's too big. Not by much but enough to slip around. Oh well, might just order a smaller one.

All in all, very happy with Eric's stuff despite the exceptionally long wait.

It's been 3 months and I still haven't received my order and Corter does not reply to my emails or my tweets...

Corter Leather: The "Bottle Opener" Key Hook
7925003.4b.JPG
Restocks are here! Eric Heins, the designer and one-man-show who is Corter Leather, came up with a creative little masterpiece. It is a key hook which fits easily around a belt loop on your denim and it works as a functional bottle opener. It is forged from cast steel in a metal shop in California and comes with solid copper o-rings from Montana and a leather tab that is hand cut by Eric in his Boston workshop. The forged cast steel is solid metal that will be durable and made to last. And just like denim or leather, these metals will age and patina the longer you use them. Corter Leather: Standard Belts
untitled.bmp
Restocks are in on all 3 of Corter's standard belt styles: Natural, Latigo, and Black. The design is simple, and well made. The leather is thick, heavy, durable and will withstand time and abuse as well as age and patina the more you wear it. Corter Leather 14oz Latigo Leather "Standard" Belt in Burgundy * 100% Latigo cowhide leather. Latigo is like the waxed cotton of leathers, in that it is impregnated with oils and waxes to make it nice and durable and even slightly waterproof. The leather has a smooth glossy finish from the wax and oils, yet the grain shows through and will continue to age and patina with wear. * Oil dyed and waxed at tannery with raw edges. * Brass-plated roller buckle and two Chicago screws * 1-1/2" wide, 1/4" thick * Made in the USA

Corter Leather: The "Bottle Opener" Key Hook - - Niew color, Red Powdercoat
7915000.4b.JPG
We have a new color....Red Powdercoat. The Corter "Bottle Opener" key hooks have been extremely popular and we are excited to have a third color option. The red powdercoat is a forged cast steel dipped in red powdercoat paint. This is the same type of paint that was used on home appliance back in the day. Over time, the red paint will start to chip away and have an antique aged look, just like an antique 1930's Frigidaire refrigerator. Now the Corter "Bottle Opener" key hook is available in red powdercoat, copper, and aged pewter. Corter Leather "Bottle Opener" Key Hook in Red Powdercoat

How's the quality of Corter's belt? Is it good, should I buy it?
