First Pair Of Raw Denim Help...

I just bought a pair of Raw denim at AB Fits in San Francisco. I actually bought their newly made "store brand" found here:

So, this is my first pair of raw denim and as I'm wearing them around the house to break in I'm worried about the fit. They are pretty tight. I was told (and have read) they will stretch out a full size as I wear them but I'm worried they won't stretch out to fit like I'm used to (not baggy, but not super tight). The waist isn't tight and I can pull about an inch of slack... but when I wear them it feels like they are supper tight. When I have my phone in my pocket you can see the outline of the phone. They definitely feel like "package pants" to me. If you saw them you would probably say they fit fine, but to me they are uncomfortable.

These are the 1197 and not the slimmer 1196.

How much could I really expect these to stretch out?

In my experience, approx. .5"-1.5" in the waist.

I guess I'm also worried about the thighs and all over... can I expect the same all over?

Also, how long would it take? If I've been wearing them all day for a couple of days would they be stretched out or will it take longer.

I'm hardly an expert, but as far as I know it's a bit different for each pair. I've never had significant stretching in the thighs, so if they are too tight now they will probably always be too tight. As far as how long it takes, the pair I'm wearing now (3sixteen+) are supposed to be fully stretched after around 30 wears. Give it at least a few weeks.

Huh really. That's interesting to know. I guess my ability to tell if something is raw by feel and looks sucks ;p I guess it too is my first raw jean
