temperature range for wwm upland jacket

Thread Starter
I want to purchase a WWM upland jacket in wool, but it is hard to get my hands on one to personally inspect how heavy it is. I dont want it to be too warm. Can somone give me an idea of the comfortable temperature ranges for a wool upland jacket?

Thanks!

Precisely 49 to 61.5 degrees fahrenheit.

Having a WWM wool stream jacket which is probably slightly less thick than the upland I'd say that in California (Which I assume you are also in based on your username) I think I can only wear it in winter and colder bits of fall unless I'm in SF then you can extend that to Fall/Winter/Spring sans the heatwave days. Guessing socal is a bit warmer so non-SF is probably more applicable. Possibly only CA winter.

can you provide some measurements, height and weight? Ethnic background and religion?

Also, have you ever worn Allen Edmonds seconds?

I have this jacket and it is very warm. I often do not waer anything under it as any extra layers would cause far to much heat. It also makes my legs feel as though there frozen because of the warmth my upper body is feeling.
