Stewed Okra and Tomatoes

1/4 pound bacon, diced
1/2 cup water
1 cup yellow onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce
2 cups tomatoes, diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound frozen cut okra
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 cups tomato sauce
1-2 cups corn kernels (optional)

Sauté diced bacon, add onion, and continue cooking. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil.Reduce to a simmer and stew, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes or until okra is tender. Makes 10 big servings.

You think I can throw in some Osso Bucco?

I applaud your ability to eat natto, but natto and okra, really?

okra is mad popular in Japan dawg. Everywhere, in everything, it's pretty great if you like okra. I've never eaten natto (I could do it) but okra would make it better....
