You heard it first here folks - Epaulet is coming to Manhattan! In partnership with Staple Design and the Reed Space, we'll host a one-month pop up shop throughout October on Orchard Street in the Lower East Side. Our doors will be open from Friday, October 1st through Saturday, October 30th.

The address is 151 Orchard, between Stanton & Rivington. It's a short walk from the 2nd Avenue "F" train stop. Our phone number will be 212-477-1018.

The shop will be packed with exclusive Epaulet product and a ton of collaborations and launches. We'll release more info next week, but you can expect to see special edition pieces by Gitman Vintage for Epaulet, Epaulet x Staple Design, Nau for Epaulet, Epaulet & Northern Watters Knitwear, Vanson for Epaulet, Thorogood for Epaulet, and a whole lot more! We'll host several nighttime events throughout the month as well. More info to come shortly!

Collaborations & Special Product Launches

Below are a few of the special items we've been working on exclusively for the Epaulet on Orchard pop-up shop

Epaulet "Heirloom" Shawl Collar Handknit Cardigan

Epaulet and Northern Watters Knitwear present an exclusive collaborative shawl-collar cardigan. Designed by Epaulet, this classic handknit offers the sharp and slim silhouette that we're known for.

Crafted out of hefty 2-ply virgin British lambswool, this heavy-knit sweater will add warmth and sophistication to any outfit. Each sweater is knit lovingly by hand by one of two people from a small, seven-person workshop on Prince Edward Island, Canada, and comes adorned with genuine horn buttons from Germany, front-facing patch pockets at the hip, sturdy ribbing at the cuffs and hem, and a soft shawl-collar to keep you warm. It's a perfect all-around piece that can be worn with just about everything; toss it over a T-shirt and shorts on a cool summer evening, or wear in lieu of a sport coat in the winter months; it's even slim enough to layer under an overcoat. Three colors are available, and retail price is $325. This piece is exclusively available through Epaulet's NYC storefronts and www.epauletshop.com.

EP's by Epaulet x Staple Design Special Edition Rivet Chino

EP's by Epaulet & Staple Design are proud to introduce their first product collaboration. Working with the slim-fit EP's Rivet Chino shape, Staple Design tweaked the details to make it their own. Each piece is made in the United States with an awesome double-faced brushed cotton twill from Japan. The product will drop mid-October, two colorways will be available, and retail price will be $165. A grey colorway (pictured) will be available through Reedspace, and an Olive colorway will be available through Epaulet's NYC storefronts and www.epauletshop.com.

Thorogood for Epaulet "No. 685 Boot"

Introduced in the 1950's, Thorogood's No. 685 Boot was billed as the Job-Fitted Work Shoe for Farm Wear. Epaulet is proud to exclusively offer this handsome piece of true Americana. Handcrafted in Merrill, Wisonsin, the Epaulet Edition No. 685 boot updates this old-school style with a Horsehide upper by Horween Leathers, a Goodyear welted cork/rubber combination sole, a full glove-leather liner, and a soft gel insole. It will retail for $245. This piece is exclusively available through Epaulet's NYC storefronts and www.epauletshop.com.

Vanson for Epaulet "Triton" Jacket

Vanson Leathers is America's largest manufacturer of leather motorcycle jackets and motorcycle riding apparel for men and women. They approached us last year, and we began working with one of their existing textile jacket shapes. We collaborated on a slimmed-down and slightly cropped waxed jacket with a full liner. The exterior is completely blacked out, with black snap closures and absolutely no branding or logos. May we present the "Triton" waxed jacket. Retail price is $425. This piece is exclusively available through Epaulet's NYC storefronts and www.epauletshop.com. Black is currently available for preorder (see link below), and a delivery of the same jacket in Dark Olive will be available at the Epaulet on Orchard storefront around the 3rd week of October.

This is very exciting for me.
For one of my favorite stores to be opening next to my store in NY is a great thing to see.
We wish you guys the best and wish that the store was permanent!

Really happy for you guys, I'm flying in next month and will try to stop by. Hopefully you will recognize me... I'll be the one dressed head to toe in Epaulet clothes. I'll look emaciated as well cause Epaulet took all my food money.

This looks awesome! I am actually heading to NYC this weekend and was planning to head down to the main store. Will the pop-up shop also have a solid cross-section of your regular stock or would it still possibly be valuable to head to the main store? In particular, I was looking to check out the fit of the Walt trousers.

Thanks guys! It definitely feels great to be movin' on up - literally - to the East Side.

We're thrilled to be next to you guys! I hope that Andrew doesn't get sick of me drooling over your Buzz Rickson jackets during my lunch break.

Oh that's great - looking forward to meeting you! Drop me a line when you know what day you're coming by, and I'll make sure that I'm at the LES store.

Yes, the Pop-Up is going to be well-stocked with every type of Epaulet item.

However... since we do a huge trouser business in Brooklyn, our Brooklyn store is definitely going to have a larger selection of Walt trousers. But we'll still have some Walt's there, and units available in every size. Looking forward to seeing you!

2 questions: will there be women's items, and who's going to be running the store?

Yup, we'll definitely have womens there. Specifically:
1. Nau jackets and down layering pieces, including our custom Nau women's Blazing jacket

2. The brand-new, made-in-Sweden Epaulet clog collection. These are all hand made in Sweden, and they look gorgeous. My wife has been working on them for months. The styles are great and the craftsmanship is really excellent. And as a nice tie-in to our mens shoes - they use nubuck and smooth leather from Horween.

3. Our custom United Nude "Fold" Booties

4. A tight assortment of Melissa collaborative shoes (V. Westwood, Gaultier, etc).

5. A freaking ton of scarves and weekender bags. Technically unisex items, but the ladies always love our assortment.

And the store's going to be run by me, Adele, our employee Dylan, and both my and Adele's mothers. That's correct - for the month of October, visiting either store will result in meeting one of our moms. I'll give you fair warning about my mother - she drives a hard bargain and she's the most effective sales associate that Epaulet has ever seen. Definitely better than I am. Once she starts showing you things, your chances of leaving empty-handed are slim

I stopped by to check it out yesterday. The store looks awesome, though there was an awkward moment when I noticed I was wearing the same thing as the window display.

Any chance of a preview of those Gitman shirts for the non-locals?
