^ That Vivitar ad is actually smart marketing. I'm sure they have a warehouse of 50,000 of those things that have been sitting somewhere for years just taking up space, until they found out how to make it obsoleteness into an advantage - nostalgia! I doubt they're making a profit on 10 year old cameras @ $10 each, but at least they are recouping some money. I could see lots of seniors going for that, there are still people in the world who don't like using computers.
